What is Type0?

Type0 is an all-day voice recorder app for Apple Watch and iPhone. It records what you say, turns it into searchable text and short summaries, and keeps everything in one timeline — a personal library of your own ideas.
Why record on an Apple Watch?

It’s already on your wrist all day, it has a good microphone close to your voice, and it works even when your phone isn’t with you. You don’t need to buy or carry a separate recorder.
Does it really record all day?

It’s made for long stretches. Start in the morning and it keeps going on your wrist or in your pocket. If something interrupts it, like a phone call, Type0 tells you instead of quietly stopping.
Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Your iPhone is enough. With a Watch you can leave your phone behind — the Watch saves everything and sends it over when they’re back together.
Does it work without internet?

Yes. Recording and playback always work offline. Text and summaries arrive as soon as you’re back online.

What happens to my recordings?

Can I record other people?

Type0 always shows when it’s recording and never hides it. Before you record others, make sure you have any consent you need.
Can I use my Type0 notes in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Type0 has an MCP server at https://api.type0.io/mcp. Add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP app, sign in with your email, and ask about anything you’ve recorded. It’s read-only and free.
